Wakarusa Maple Syrup Festival

Midwest Museum of American Art presents "An Artist's Still Life"

“An Artist’s Still Life” is an exhibit of sixty pieces featuring paintings, drawings, and prints depicting inanimate objects by artists who have worked over the past 100+ years in America. The exhibit opens on Friday, April 3 and will continue on view through the museum’s 36th Anniversary and conclude on Sunday, July 12.

Intro to Ikebana

Ikebana is the art of Japanese flower arranging. Wellfield Botanic Gardens is hosting Intro to Ikebana, on Saturday, April 25th at 10:00am. Master Gardener and certified Ikebana instructor Emma Wynn will introduce the class to the history and fundamental approaches of Ikebana. Create an elegant plant design using living branches, greenery and blossoms that aims at creating a link between the indoors and the outdoors. Materials will be provided. Bring your own hand pruners. The class is $12 for members and $15 for non-members. Space is limited and registration is required. Registration ends on Friday, April 24th.
